ROCKLAND — The following cases were completed in the Knox County court from Nov. 4 through Nov. 10.

Thomas E. Sawyer, 24, Warren, probation violation on a prior arson conviction, nine months in prison; assault on Feb. 25, 2022 in Rockport, nine months in jail; criminal mischief on Feb. 25, concurrent nine months and restitution of $157; criminal mischief on Feb.26, 2022, in Warren, nine months concurrent; criminal mischief on Feb. 27, 2022, in Warren, nine months concurrent and restitution of $1,700.

Kevin Hornby, 22, North Haven, aggravated assault and two other counts of assault, all on April 8, 2021, on North Haven against two people. All charges were dismissed with the motion to dismiss stating there was insufficient evidence. Hornby  agreed to pay restitution of $575 for the benefit of the two victims.

Kevin Warren Whitehill, 39, Thomaston, unlawful possession of cocaine base on July 19, 2021 in Rockland, two years in jail with all but 90 days suspended, stayed until Feb. 1, 2023, two years probation, $400 fine; operating while licensed suspended or revoked, $250 fine with the fine suspended.

Charles J. Bill, 40, Northport, aggravated assault on July 27, 2021, in Warren, 14 days in jail.

Zackary H. Woodbury, 41, Rockland, domestic violence assault on Sept. 19, 2021, in Thomaston with prior domestic violence cases, three years in jail all suspended, two years probation.

Steven Russell, 42, Searsmont, failing to notify of motor vehicle accident on Aug. 8, 2021, in Camden, $500 fine; failing to make accident report, $500 fine; driving to endanger, dismissed; attaching false plates, $250 fine.

Travis M. Doughty, 39, Cushing, theft on Dec. 31, 2021, in Rockland, dismissed.

Kevin S. Defoe, 33, Camden, theft and two counts of operating while license suspended on Feb. 23, 2022, in Camden, all dismissed; criminal trespass, $500 fine.
