THOMASTON — On Nov. 10, the Oceanside Middle School in Thomaston welcomed area veterans in for a breakfast and ceremony. The ceremony featured bag pipes played by Ian Erickson of Thomaston, along the American Legion Post #1 color guard posting the colors. School staff and student parents provided many different breakfast items. The Keag Store of South Thomaston donated breakfast pizzas for the event, and Dunkin Donuts of Thomaston donated a vat of coffee. The ceremony also included student presentations and a performance of patriotic music by the school band and chorus.
