SOUTH THOMASTON — Join Rigometrics for “Rigsgiving” Wednesday, Nov. 23 — a Thanksgiving eve filled with great music, food and vibes at Salt Water Fields Wedding & Event Barn, 299 St. George Road.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m., where there will be a full bar and Thomaston’s Station 118 serving house smoked BBQ options from its food truck. The music starts at 8 p.m. when Rigometrics will play its rocking 75-minute set.

Rigometrics is a young up-and-coming original rock & roll band out of Portland, formed in May 2021. Heavily influenced by classic rock bands, members provide original raw high-energy rock & roll music. Lyrically they bring a message of inspiration, self-reflection and acceptance, and creating a positive change, all while packaging it in a joyous musical experience. Stylistically, they experiment with multiple genres of rock and expand the view of what modern rock can be.

Members of Rigometrics are Keenan Hendricks (vocals and keyboard), Josef Berger (lead electric guitar) and Derek Haney (drums).

Rigometrics has made some serious noise in the Maine music scene in just a little over a year of forming, with two successful East Coast tours, headlining four major shows, and releasing the debut album “Rig N’ Roll.”

There are limited tickets available, capping at 225. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. This an all-age-friendly event with IDs required at the door for those 21 and older. For tickets, visit Eventbrite here.
