Last weekend’s pumpkin walk held by the Owls Head Conservation Commission was a great success thanks to the generous donations by the following: Plants Unlimited, Beth’s Farm Market, Hannaford, Shaw’s, Lowes and the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. Thank you all very much.

We could not have done it without the many efforts of neighbors, who carved many a pumpkin, the Baptist Church group, the homeschool group and the amazing Girl Scout Troop 191, who carved more than 40 pumpkins. So many individuals helped in making the evening truly special.

The Owls Head Conservation Commission is committed to strengthening community through the experiences we can share with nature, come walk the Plaisted Preserve!
