ROCKLAND — One person was was checked by emergency medical services when a sports utility vehicle struck a store on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 8.

Rockland emergency medical services and police responded to the crash that occurred shortly before 1 p.m. The vehicle struck the front of Oceanside Deli, located at the intersection of North Main and Birch streets.

The driver of the 2016 RAV4 complained of pain but Alice Berry, 74, of Camden, was not injured. There was minor damage to the vehicle and store.

Berry stepped on the pedal instead of the brake, resulting in the crash.
