WALDOBORO — The Medomak Valley Players opens “Hello, Dolly!” Friday, Nov. 11, in the Ronald E. Dolloff Auditorium at Medomak Valley High School, 320 Manktown Road.

Performances for the annual fall musical are Nov. 11, 12, 18 and 19 at 7 p.m., and matinees Nov. 13 and 20 at 2 p.m. There is also an opportunity to participate in an after show tea Sunday, Nov. 13, in the cafeteria where patrons can meet the performers. There is no charge to attend the tea but donations for the theater department are always welcomed.

“Hello, Dolly!,” a 1964 musical adaptation of Thornton Wilder’s hit play “The Matchmaker,” bursts with humor, romance, energetic dance and some of the greatest songs in musical theater history. The romantic and comic exploits of Dolly Gallagher-Levi, turn-of-the-century matchmaker and “woman who arranges things,” are certain to thrill and entertain audiences.

The production team includes Director Peter Stuart, Assistant Director Maida Cordero, Technical Director Matthew Kopishke, Costume Director Kerry Weber and Vocal Director Jonathan Baldwin. In addition, volunteers Robyn Sykes, Tegan Baldwin
and Tom Lupien have added their incredible expertise and assistance.

The principal cast includes Lily Rogers as Dolly Gallagher Levi, Liam Smith as Horace Vandegelder, Chris Harris as Cornelius Hackl, Luis Cordero as Barnaby Tucker, Anna Weber as Irene Malloy, Ella Donaghy as Minnie Fay, Kelsey Payson as
Ermengarde, Finn Kelly as Ambrose Kemper and Megan Lee as Ernestina.

Additional cast members are Ethan Moody, Kyle Hall, Elizabeth Harriman, Catherina Robinson, Cindy Shelmerdine, Lyra Stevens, Quinn Natale, Clara Frank, Sadie Smith, Hailey Hobbs, Jonah Smith, Cole Bruno, Karis Burns, Danielle Davis, Maggie Bruno, Addy Ruggieri, Michaela Lewis, Mattea Grubbs and Ava Stuetz.

Tech crew members include Jordan Doughty, Sciatzy Solis, Micaela Lorentzen, Riley Chase, Tanner Kopishke and Shaela Darton.
