PORT CLYDE — On the afternoon of Tuesday, Nov. 1, the Coast Guard, Maine Marine Patrol, and private fishing vessels responded to a report of a vessel taking on water off Port Clyde.

The incident occurred before 4 p.m. Nov. 1.

The operator of the vessel was the only person on board and was taken from the boat by a local fisherman. The operator was picked up on shore by a St. George ambulance but did not require medical attention.

The Coast Guard was attempting to remove the water from the vessel and tow it to shore.
