With the ever growing popularity of Trunk or Treating, children get the chance to show off their costumes and grab some treats a few days and nights in October instead of just the one.

Truck, or Trunk or Treat events began in the Knox County area as early as Oct. 22 this year with spooky or silly decked out truck beds and car trunks, lined up in parking lots for children to visit for goodies.

Parents in the Camden-Rockport area held a Trunk or Treat event at the Camden-Rockport Middle School parking lot on Saturday, Oct. 29. Everyone from Chase of the Paw Patrol to Velma, Daphne, and even Mini Mouse were present, displaying their trunks of candy treats and toys for the kiddos.

On Sunday, Oct. 30, the Knox County Fish and Game Association hosted a Halloween party at Beaver Lodge in Hope. Children were invited to trick or treat around the campground, as well as paint pumpkins, participate in a scavenger hunt for a prize, sack races, and a costume parade.
