CUSHING — Clyde K. Maloney Jr., 77, of Cushing, passed away at his home on Oct. 2, 2022. Born on July 20, 1945, he was the son of Clyde Sr. and Hester (Foster) Maloney of Cushing.

Clyde, better known as “Uncle Bud,” grew up in the small town of Cushing, where he enjoyed being on the ocean, learning to be a lobsterman. His beloved dogs, Troubles and later Katie, were his children. He also became a friend and teacher for his companion of many years, Paula Sawyer, and her son Jason Winslow. He enjoyed watching his great-niece and great-nephew, along with his great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, grow up.
