LINCOLNVILLE — Eva Mae Botley, of Lincolnville, passed away peacefully at the Sussman House on Oct. 8, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born on April 28, 1936, in the house she grew up in, the daughter of Agnes and George Underhill.

Eva lived in Lincolnville all her life. She raised four children, Robin, Jeff, David and Dick.

Eva was the foreman of a blueberry crew, and worked at Robbins Lumber. Eva even opened a general store, E&R Market, in Lincolnville, where she worked for many years.

She loved family, going to camp in Moosehead, and sorting through family photos.

Eva was predeceased by her husband Ronald Botley, who died on Oct. 3, 1985; her sisters, Doris Newman and Linda Mills; and her brothers, Leroy and George Underhill.

Eva is survived by her sister, Shirley Braley; her children, Robin Barton and her husband David, Jeffrey Hodgdon and his wife Deidre, David Botley and his wife Shelly, and Dick Botley and his wife Jean; her grandchildren Wendy, Jodi, Jeri, Kelly, Erica, Brandon, Myriah, Victor, Robin, Noah and R.J.; and her great-grandchildren Casey, Brody, Mark, Agnes, Willow, Hazel, Silas and Charlie.

A private celebration of life will be held in the spring or summer.
