ROCKLAND — Penobscot Bay Language School is hosting their annual Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) family event for all ages. Join on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. to decorate sugar skulls, discuss the holiday’s origins and cultural significance, learn songs and stories (read-a-loud) in Spanish and English about this beautiful and meaningful ancient holiday.

Traditional snacks from Mexico will be provided (including street tacos) and of course the traditional Pan De Muerto pastry to complete the Day of the Dead experience. Families with young children are encouraged to participate. All ages welcome.
