ROCKLAND — The city’s annual leaf and brush pick-up will start next week.

Public services crews will begin their one trip around the city starting 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 to collect lawn debris, including leaves and branches.

The leaves should be raked into piles along the edge of the sidewalk/street and should be covered with a tarp or weighted material. The city asks that the leaves not be placed in bags.

“Keeping the leaf piles separate from the debris/brush piles helps us to properly recycle these items and makes the process more efficient. Please remember not to block any sidewalks or roadways. If you have any questions, please call Rockland Public Services at 207-594-0320.”
