FRIENDSHIP — Salt Pond Studio, 522 Cushing Road, features an exhibition of paintings and sgraffito creations on porcelain by artist Pam Cabañas, running from Oct. 26 through Nov. 27.

“Jack in the Roses” by Pam Cabañas.

Join the artist for a “Last Bash” reception Saturday, Oct. 29, from 2 to 6 p.m. with live music on the Salt Pond Stage by Adrian Piel, Jim Loney and other fine local talent. The fire pit will be warm and the barbecue will be fired up — come out for good company, good art and good music at this end of season celebration.

The show features large works on panel inspired by life and landscape in the artist’s hometown of Friendship. Cabañas’ ventures into sgrafitto works on porcelain punctuate the exhibition. Salt Pond Studio will donate 10% of proceeds to the Maine Lobsterman’s Fund.

Salt Pond Studio is housed in the renovated pre-Civil War schoolhouse at corner of Salt Pond Road and Route 97. Fall gallery hours are Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 4 p.m.
