I am writing to voice my strong support of Anne “Pinny” Beebe-Center in her campaign to be our next State Senator.

As someone who has worked for 15 years in our wonderful local school district, Pinny has been at the heart of understanding and enacting positive change for our youth. It’s rare to find someone whose passion and commitment to people of all ages and backgrounds is a strong as what Pinny shows and represents every day. Personally, I have valued her contributions and counsel on so many projects for our community and our youth that I can’t think of a better person to be our State Senator.

As you may know, Pinny was our State Representative for Rockland and Owls Head for three terms in the Maine Legislature. In that capacity, she worked hard on issues like health care, education, reproductive health, and expanding access to mental health. Again, in every school district across the street state, we recognize the need to do everything we can to meet the mental health needs of our students, which, after the pandemic, have grown increasingly more complex and challenging. She will bring those same skills and experience to this new position as State Senator.

On Nov. 8, I urge you to join me in voting for Anne “Pinny” Beebe-Center as our next State Senator in District 12.
