Since meeting Pinny 15 years ago, I have been in awe of her compassion and undisputable love for our community. She stops and listens. And she listens with kindness and empathy regardless of who you are. She listens more than she talks, which is a rare and wonderful gift.

Pinny understands the depth of our community’s needs in the way few people do. Perhaps more than many of us care to understand.

Pinny has been pivotal in founding or supporting such critical organizations as AIO Food and Energy Assistance, Restorative Justice, New Hope Midcoast, Knox County Homeless Coalition, Rockland Public Library, One Less Worry and many more. She is running for the Maine State Senate after having served three successful terms as District 93’s State Representative.

I have the utmost respect for Anne “Pinny” Beebe-Center. You will see me at Flannagan Center on Tuesday, Nov. 8. Please join me.
