THOMASTON — What’s better for Halloween weekend than … murder? How about a 1920s speakeasy-themed murder mystery dinner theater? Mystery 207 brings its fan-favorite show to Watts Hall, 174 Main St., for one night only Saturday, Oct. 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. Tickets must be purchased in advance by noon Oct. 25.

Mystery 207 is a professional murder mystery dinner theater group that tours throughout northern New England. The Speakeasy Show is its bestseller. The basic premise is that the big boss of “the family” has been killed in his own club, and the investigator needs the audience’s help figuring out which of the six suspects is the guilty party. It’s a very interactive show with lots of opportunities for audience participation. Dressing up in 1920s garb is encouraged, but not required.

Tickets are $55 and include a three-course meal catered by the culinary arts students of the Midcoast School of Technology. The full menu is available on the Eventbrite ticketing site, linked in the calendar of wattshallthomaston.com or via tinyurl.com/yc4emxbr. Mystery 207 is brought to town by the nonprofit Watts Hall Community Arts.
