CAMDEN — A holiday tradition is gearing up once again to bring good tidings to the Camden area during the first weekend in December, as the Camden Area Business Group presents Christmas By the Sea.

The 36th annual Christmas By the Sea weekend, scheduled for Dec. 2 through 4 will feature the traditional holiday parade through downtown Camden on Friday evening and the arrival of Santa Claus. Festivities throughout the weekend will include tree lightings, story time and photos with Santa and his elf, a variety of holiday music, activities, performances, and events to be enjoyed by all ages.

Those wishing to participate in the Christmas By the Sea parade should contact Holly Anderson at handerson@camdensnowbowl.com to receive a participation form.

The Christmas By the Sea committee invites businesses and organizations in the towns of Camden, Rockport, and Lincolnville to join in the festivities. To have your event considered for inclusion in Christmas By the Sea promotions, email event particulars to christmasbythesea@camdenmaineexperience.com by Nov. 4.
