HOPE — Kevin Scott Warren, 64, of Hope, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at Pen Bay Medical Center in Rockport. Born at Knox County General Hospital in Rockland May 2, 1958, he was the son of William G. and Georgia M. (Blake) Warren and grew up in Rockland before moving to Warren. He was a 1976 graduate of Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro where he participated in sports.

In his younger years, he loved Chevy Camaros, especially his red one with white stripes. On Feb. 13, 1981, he was blessed with the birth of his only daughter, Kristina “Krissy” Warren.

Kevin was very experienced in many phases of construction including concrete, roofing, and general construction. He was proud of working on the Navigator Motor Inn where he did roof work suspended in a harness 100 feet off the ground. Another personal achievement was doing the roof of the “Spite House” in Rockport while working for Coastal Copper and Slate.

Surviving is his wife, Mary Leland Warren, of Hope; his mother, Georgia Warren of Rockland; mother-in-law, Faye R. Leland of West Rockport; daughter, Krissy Campbell; stepsons, Tyler P. (Lindsey) Ludwig of Union, Andrew (Elizabeth) K. Ludwig of Monmouth; brothers, William (Patty) of Las Vegas, Nev., Mike (Julie) Warren from Hallowell; sisters, Dorinda (Bruce) Bennett of Union, Diana (Kent) Simendinger of Rockland; four grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends.
