ROCKLAND — Several residents of Rockland, Maine are embracing a healthier lifestyle after launching an inspiration workshop, Harvest Your Best Self, a chapter of a nonprofit weight-loss support group. Weekly TOPS® chapter meetings are held at the Salvage Church located on 30 Sherer Lane, Rockland, Maine on Tuesdays from 5-6:30 p.m.

They had serving Maine advocate from TOPS, Debra Scillia, talk on inspirational topics of how to stay the course of weight loss and achieve the goals to keep pounds off sensibly.

Also, the runner-up queen of Maine, Pam Tibbets, spoke of her success story of how she achieved her royalty status and won at the game of weight loss which was very inspiring as well.

There were many door prizes, a harvest raffle, a spa raffle, and a 50/50 raffle given away. The centerpieces were raffled off as well. They were fashioned with flickering candles in fire-red buckets adorned with sunflowers, and came with apples.

“We’re so excited to host our workshop at our TOPS chapter! We encourage anyone who’s looking for weight-loss support to start or continue their journey with us,” says Sally A. Lehtinen, chapter leader.
