Ok, we need to talk. We need to talk about all the wonderful animals available for adoption at Pope Memorial Humane Society. Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and gerbils are all looking for new homes. Are you ready to welcome a new companion into your family? If so, keep reading.

Kato Pope Memorial Humane Society

Kato is a handsome and giant Akita. He is true to his breed. He is intelligent, loyal, stubborn, and not a fan of other animals. He adores people and is looking for a home that has experience with Akitas and has room for 125-pounds of fluff.

Willow is a gentle little albino rabbit. She is litterbox trained and is used to having room to hop around. Needless to say, she is not happy about being in a rabbit pen at the shelter. Willow is not even one year old and wants to grow up in a happy home that appreciates super cute bunnies.

Mumma Kitty is a 9-year-old tabby with gorgeous medium-length fur. She is friendly, super curious, and looking for a cozy retirement home. She is used to being around other cats and would be happy to settle into your couch with some fellow felines.

Are you ready to adopt but unsure who or what you want to adopt? That is ok! Stop by Pope Memorial Humane Society. The shelter is open for public visits Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (closed on Labor Day). The PMHS staff love to play matchmaker and would be thrilled to help you find the perfect animal to add to your family. To see more adoptable animals of PMHS at all hours, visit www.popehumane.org.

Wish list: Wet pate-style kitten food, 33-gallon trash bags, dry kitten food, scrubby sponges, gift cards to local businesses to purchase supplies for the shelter. Thank you.
