LINCOLNVILLE — Due to a staffing shortage created by illness, the Lincolnville Town Office will be closed until further notice.
“We hope (the closure) doesn’t last long,” Lincolnville Town Administrator David Kinney said Monday, Aug. 29. “It may be a couple of days, but we won’t know for sure until later this week.”
Nearly all of the town services are accessible online through the town’s website at town.lincolnville.me.us/index.asp?Type=B_LIST&SEC={42B11BC2-A0C2-412A-96A9-6C1CB8F50FFA}.
The only services not available through the town website are new vehicle registrations, vital records and tax payments.
Lincolnville residents with questions can call the Town Office.
“We have people here to answer the phone,” Kinney said. “If someone calls with a question, we can talk them through the process.”
