Twilight league, women’s play at Goose River Golf Club

ROCKPORT — The following is news from the Goose River Golf Club:

On Tuesday, Aug. 23, in twilight league play, the results for skins were:

A/B Flight — Matt Haynes scored three on the 13th hole; and Adam Lynch, two on 15th.

C/D/E/F Flight — Dan Benson, three on 12th; Warren Marshall, three on 18th; and Steve Dailey, four on 14th.

Pins on 15th hole — Front tees: Steve Dailey, 23-10. Back tees: Adam Lynch, 7-8.

Pin on 17th — Back tees: Adam Lynch, 11-2.

Adam Lynch was the 50/50 winner.

On Wednesday, Aug. 24, in women’s league Las Vegas scramble play, Gail Gleason, Connie Bailey, Rebecca Greene and Georgiana Darie combined to finish first at 37; and Diane Norton, Karen Higgins, Sue Whalen, Lynn Cianchette, second at 39.

Pin: Diane Norton, 21-0 on the eighth.

Sue Whalen was the 50/50 winner.
