WALDOBORO — The Waldo Theatre, 916 Main St., hosts GoldenOak live on stage Saturday, Aug. 27, at 7:30 p.m.

GoldenOak’s music is rooted in the natural landscape. Fronted by siblings Zak and Lena Kendall, GoldenOak’s music is nestled in rich folk-influenced sibling harmony. The Maine-based band has built a steady and growing fan base with its kind of energetic intimacy. The group’s latest album, “Room to Grow,” is 10-song reflection of the emotional and physical impacts of the climate crisis. The band is rounded out by upright bassist Mike Knowles and drummer Jackson Cromwell.

Online tickets are available for $15 in advance, $20 the day of the event. Tickets are available at the box office starting at 6:30 p.m. when the doors open. Visit waldotheatre.org.

Assistive listening devices are available at the box office. Concessions, including beer and wine, will be available for purchase. The Waldo is no longer requiring proof of vaccination, and has shifted to masks optional for all visitors.

This event is sponsored by The First National Wealth Management.
