Oceanside peewee football practices begin Aug. 22

ROCKLAND — Registration for Oceanside peewee football, eligible to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade in the Regional School Unit 13 geographically area — in addition to Vinalhaven and St. George — is underway.

Those interested can register online at Oceanside peewee football’s Facebook page or at the first day of practice.

Practices begin on Monday, Aug. 22 at the Thomaston Street field, while games begin on Saturday, Sept. 10.

Teams are separated by kindergarten through second grade, third and fourth grades and fifth and sixth grades.

Those in kindergarten through second grade will practice Monday and Thursday 5 to 6:30 p.m., while grades three through six practice Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 5 to 6:30 p.m.

A $50 registration fee, in addition to a $25 refundable helmet deposit, is required.
