Community Brief: Free tours of Aldermere Farm

Free Tours of Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s Aldermere Farm, in Rockport, are offered at 10 a.m. Fridays Aug. 19 and 26. They will also be offered at 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays Sept. 7, 14, 21, and 28. Tours start at the farmhouse, 20 Russell Avenue, and are led by volunteer docents who will share the history of the 200-year-old saltwater farm. Meet Aldermere’s iconic belted Galloway herd and the 4-H Club that works with them. Admission is free. Donations are accepted. Registration is required.
