ROCKLAND — Rockland police are asking for the public’s assistance in an investigation into a home burglary on Saturday night, Aug. 6.

A resident on upper Rankin Street arrived home early in the morning Sunday, Aug. 7 to find the home had been entered, apparently through a window. Some items were stolen, including a safe.

The investigation is ongoing. The Rockland Police Department is asking for assistance from anyone that may have seen something or someone in the area from 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 to 2 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7.
