ROCKPORT — The Rockport Masonic Center’s lawn concert series continues Wednesday, Aug. 10, from 6 to 7 p.m. with the music of Electric Bonfire. The Lincolnville-based band plays original music as well as covers from classic American bands. Band members are John Luft, Mitch Markowitz, Mike Whitehead and special guest Owen Markowitz on drums.
The event is free to the public with pass-the-hat donations taken for the band. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the summer night and music. This is a rain, go inside, or shine, stay outside, event.
One hamburger or two hot dog plates with a side, chips, drink and ice cream are available for $10 per plate. There will also be a 50-50 raffle drawn.
The center is located at 361 Main St., just up from the Simonton Corner four-way stop signs. For more information, call Jeff Sukeforth at 691-2270.
