ROCKLAND — Rockland City Hall will be closed Monday, Aug. 1, due to COVID-19.

City Manager Tom Luttrell announced the closure early Monday morning. He said COVID affected the city clerk’s office and City Hall would be closed for a deep cleaning.

The City Council meeting scheduled for 5:30 p.m. will be held via Zoom.

Update: Rockland City Hall reopened for normal business hours Tuesday, Aug. 2.
