A total of 537 area residents from 14 local zip codes responded to the Barriers to Care Survey, giving a critical local perspective on care in the region. What prevents someone from obtaining care? What care is most needed? Are there other factors like abuse or homelessness that make it harder to get medical, dental, or mental health care? The responses have helped the Knox Clinic define its areas of focus in the years to come.

Since 1999, the Knox Clinic has been a volunteer-based non-profit providing free/low-cost medical, dental, prescription assistance, and mental health & wellness services to the uninsured & underinsured in Knox County and border towns. We believe everyone deserves access to compassionate quality care!
