ROCKLAND — A captured-live high definition broadcast from London’s Harold Pinter Theatre of “Prima Facie” will be presented as a National Theatre Live production on Thursday, July 28, at the Strand Theatre, 345 Main St. Showtimes are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve”) makes her West End debut as Tessa in the UK premiere of Suzie Miller’s award-winning play. Tessa is a young, brilliant barrister. She has worked her way up from working class origins to be at the top of her game – defending, cross examining and winning. An unexpected event forces her to confront the lines where the patriarchal power of the law, burden of proof, and morals diverge. “Prima Facie” takes the audience to the heart of where emotion and experience collide with the rules of the game.

Justin Martin directs this solo tour de force. The production is rated R.

Running time is 2 hours. Tickets are $15/General Admission, $13/Strand Members. For COVID safety, masks are required. To buy tickets, or for more information, visit or call (207) 594-0070, ext. 3.
