ROCKLAND — Two teenagers were charged Wednesday morning, July 13, in connection to a car theft, and a third suspect is being sought after fleeing the scene.

Rockland police announced early on the morning of July 13, Rockland Police took a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the area of State Street. Approximately an hour-and-a-half later, the vehicle was recovered. Rockland police said 18-year-old Khyllie Cochran of Warren was charged with theft and unauthorized use of property. Additionally, a juvenile was charged with unauthorized use of property.

Rockland Police are attempting to locate another suspect seen fleeing the area.

Additional charges are expected.

Rockland Police also took several other reports today of unlocked vehicles that had been gone through during the overnight and/or early morning hours. These incidents are under investigation.

Rockland Police remind citizens to lock their vehicles when unattended overnight and never leave your keys inside a vehicle.
