ST. GEORGE — The Jackson Memorial Library Summer Literary Series’ third and final speaker is Lance Morrow, renowned author and current Henry Grunwald Senior Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. The presentation Tuesday, July 19, will be preceded by a reception at 5:30 p.m. at Ocean View Grange, 435 Port Clyde Road, in Martinsville.
Morrow’s storied background includes work with Time, Smithsonian, The New York Times, The Atlantic, and other publications. He will be presenting his current work, “God and Mammon.”
Morrow has written numerous award-winning books and essays with probing analyses of culture and politics in our times. His coverage has included presidents from Nixon to Obama and wars from Bosnia to the Middle East. His understanding of current events in Ukraine cannot be understated.
