THOMASTON — From the desk of Marketing and Public Relations Manager Kasey Bielecki. Have you visited Pope Memorial Humane Society lately? Oh. My. Goodness. There are so many fantastic animals available for adoption right now.

Here is a glimpse into a few of our adoptable pets, For more information, head to or swing by the shelter Monday through Saturday between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Olive and O’Malley are two adorable eight-year-old beagles looking for new homes. While Olive is playful, has the best but wiggle, and is pretty outgoing, O’Malley is on the quieter side. O’Malley is more of a couch potato wanting to curl up for snacks (watch your cheese and crackers).

Jenkins T. Fluffworth and Stormcloud McPuffsby are two very fluffy three-month-old rabbits looking for homes. Born in our care at PMHS, these two boys need homes prepared for bunny spa days. Jenkins and Stormcloud have a lot of fur and need regular brushing to maintain their beautiful coats.

Meow Meow is still looking for a home. This independent lady knows what she wants and will settle for nothing less. She enjoys a good cuddle session and is happy to curl up and nap with you, but respect her space and when she tells you she has had enough, leave her be. Good words for all of us to live by, right?
