THOMASTON — Like our colonial forefathers, the Watts Hall Community Players rallied the troops and the Thomaston community as they prepared for their first musical since 2018 and their first brand new musical ever. “Count Me In,” the story of local American patriot Henry Knox, has a volunteer cast of 24, a crew of 30 and countless other volunteers sewing costumes, making sets, selling ads and distributing posters. Producing a brand new production is no easy task, and “Count Me In” has become a community effort involving volunteers ages nine to 91. Thanks to their efforts, after an absence of 215 years, Henry and Lucy Knox are back in Thomaston!

This community spirit also includes the generous support of Gold Sponsor: The General Henry Knox Museum; Bronze Sponsors: Brooks Trap Mill, Epifanes Yacht Coatings, Frantz Furniture & Bedding, Lakeside Landscape, and Mr. Tire & Co; and the many ad sponsors.

“Count Me In” is on stage in Watts Hall, 174 Main St., for its final performances Friday and Saturday, July 1 and 2, at 7 p.m. In this same spirit of community, these theater tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online at wattshallcommunityplayers.org or at the door. Seating is general admission. Henry and Lucy will be waiting!
