ROCKLAND — A house that was in extremely poor condition was torn down to make way for a new residence.
The house had been at 9 Halls Lane.
The property was purchased April 5 by Benjamin Baudanza-Sturks from Susan Parker for $25,000, according to state records.
The house had been a two-story building built in 1900 with four bedrooms and one bathroom, according to city assessment record. The Rockland code enforcement office reported that a new modular with a garage will be erected on the property. The property is about one-eighth of an acre.
