CAMDEN — The Board of Directors of Megunticook Rowing announces Olivia Goodwin-Cook will be the next director and coach of Megunticook Rowing.

Goodwin-Cook has a long history with Megunticook Rowing. Her rowing career began as a varsity rower and coxswain for Megunticook Rowing. She then went on to excel at Connecticut College as the varsity men’s coxswain for four years. While at Connecticut College, Goodwin-Cook worked under head coach, Ric Ricci, where she was tasked with performance analysis, workout development, and collegiate coaching.

During summer months, she coached Megunticook Rowing’s master rowers, and was the head sailing instructor for the Rockport Boat Club, where she was instrumental in the development of Rockport Boat Club’s sailing curriculum.

Off the water, Goodwin-Cook researched and implemented Megunticook Rowing’s first donor management system and administered the organization’s social media and marketing platforms.

“Olivia has been a part of our organization for many years. Her institutional knowledge, rowing experience, and leadership, both on and off the water makes her the perfect fit. We are extremely pleased that Olivia will continue to be a part of Megunticook Rowing. She is joining our team at a critical time in the history of our organization. She will be leading Megunticook Rowing forward into our next chapter.” Meg Webb, president of Megunticook Rowing’s Board of Directors said.
