VINALHAVEN — New Era Gallery, 60 Main St., presents an “Early Summer Show” from Saturday, June 25, through Tuesday, July 12. An artists’ talk at 4:30 p.m. in the Windy Way Barn will be followed by a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on opening day.

The show features John A. Brown’s fine wood furniture and sculptural pieces made of found objects and carved wood; Stephanie Crossman’s three-dimensional knotted netting inspired by the natural world; and a series of color photographs by Joseph S. Lieber exploring life as seen in and on the water outside his Vinalhaven home.

Summer gallery hours are Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays by appointment. For more information, call 863-9351 or visit neweragallery.com.
