War Memorial Post 30 is extending an invitation to all veterans to join them in their annual luncheon for vets July 23 beginning at 1130 a.m. at the post.

All vets are invited and if they wish may bring a guest. There is no cost for vets but a donation of $10 for guests is appreciated.

Vets are asked to call the post at 236-3310 and speak with Jeff Sukeforth/Post Adjutant to RSVP no later than July 15.

According to Sukeforth the guest speaker will be former Sgt. Mark Holmquist, U.S. Army, 3rd Infantry Regiment, The Old Guard, who will speak on his tour of duty with the Old Guard including the duties and responsibilities as a member of this prestigious unit.

Sukeforth also wants all veterans to know that if they would like to receive a certificate of appreciation and a challenge coin dedicated to their service they must provide a copy of their discharge certificate, DD Form 214 by the July 15 RSVP date.
