CAMDEN — The Camden Public Library, 55 Main St., welcomes the Midcoast Brass Quintet back to the Camden Amphitheatre Wednesday, June 15, at 6 p.m. for a free public concert to kick off the library’s “Summer Music & Theatre Series.” Pack a picnic supper and enjoy a musical evening with family and neighbors. Bring a camp chair or blanket for comfortable seating.
The Midcoast Brass Quintet is a group of five musical friends — Peter Stuart, Meghan Kennedy, Doug Kennedy, Carolyn Kanicki and Bruce Cole — who joined together in 2008 to perform a mix of classical, patriotic, jazz, rock, pop, ragtime, show tunes and marches. They are a crowd-pleasing local favorite whose joyful concerts are a treat for all ages.
The Summer Music & Theatre Series is sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial. To view more events in this series, visit librarycamden.org.
