WALDOBORO — University of Maine Cooperative Extension 4-H is seeking volunteers to help fairgoers learn more about the importance of farming with the 4-H Farm-to-Fair interactive exhibit, 10 a.m. to noon or 1-3 p.m. at the Union Fair, July 27-31.

The exhibit, housed in a series of small barns, represents different Maine agricultural products and is designed to teach the public, particularly young children, how the food they consume and the products they use are produced. The exhibit includes displays, and hands-on activities for children to introduce farm life.

Open to adult and teen individual volunteers, and groups from organizations and businesses. Orientation, including farming facts to share, will be provided.
