CAMDEN — The Midcoast Community Chorus presents Community Sing-a-long “Rejoice, Rejuvenate, Refresh” on Saturday, May 7, at 2 p.m. in the Amphitheatre of the Camden Public Library.

MCC is reactivating following a hiatus during the pandemic. This is an opportunity for the chorus members to sing and the general public to join in. This celebration of spring is open to all and presented with free admission.

Chorus singers should arrive by 1:15 p.m. Song sheets will be available. The sing-a-long is under the artistic direction of Sean Fleming and Kim Murphy. The rain date is Sunday, May 8, at 2 p.m.

MCC requests that everyone participating remain mindful of health safety and compliance with current CDC COVID guidelines.

The Midcoast Community Chorus was founded in 2007 on the belief that everyone has a voice that deserves to be heard, and that powerful things happen when we sing together in community. MCC is a multi-generational non-auditioned chorus offering a supportive environment for anyone who wants to sing. Performing music of hope, healing, transformation and peace from all over the world, singers are given a place to find voice for themselves and give voice to some of the issues of our time. When we sing, we change who we are. When we change who we are, we change the world.
