Comedian Paula Poundstone returns to Strand stage May 14

ROCKLAND — Paula Poundstone brings her distinctive brand of spontaneous observational comedy to the Strand Theatre, 345 Main St., Saturday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

Poundstone is a regular panelist on National Public Radio’s (NPR) weekly news quiz show “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!” and hosts the popular Maximum Fun podcast, “Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone.” She has had numerous TV appearances and stand-up specials including “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “Last Call with Carson Daly” and “Late Show with David Letterman.” She has had two books on bestsellers’ lists, her own series on HBO and ABC, and has been included in many top comedian lists.
