ROCKLAND — The city’s public services department will begin the annual spring clean-up May 2.
Pick-up times will be weekdays from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The city reminds people not to block sidewalks, roads, or drainage ditches when piling leaves and lawn debris. Leaves should be covered with a tarp, while garden debris, brush, and twigs should be piled separately.
The yard waste collection will begin in the South End and progress to the North End. The city will only make one stop per property.
