The Oceanside High School girls basketball team is on a victory tour throughout the school district.

On Wednesday, March 16, the team visited the South School in Rockland. The elementary school students and staff made signs congratulating the Oceanside students who brought home the Class B Gold Ball with a March 4 state championship victory over Hermon, 31-28, to cap an undefeated 20-0 season.

The team is also going to be honored in April by the Rockland City Council. Councilor Nicole Kalloch said March 14 she would be sponsoring a resolve to honor the state champions.
