WALDOBORO — The Medomak Valley chapter of National Honor Society inducted nine new members into their ranks.

Students inducted into the National Honor Society represent some of the hardest working members of the student body. These are students who have not only earned a GPA of 3.5 or above, but they also demonstrate high standards of service, leadership and character through engagement in a number of school and community activities.

This year, the following students were inducted into the National Honor Society: Elizabeth Bowman, Connor Daigle, Cynthia Shelmerdine, Gabriella Sawyer, Natalie Dean, Samantha Knight, Lily Rogers, Kylea Stone, and Quinn Overlock.

Additionally, four students who were inducted last spring were honored in this year’s induction ceremony, including Jacob Bickmore, Emylee Bryant, Shailey Johnson, and Dylann Swindler.
