UNION — Medomak Valley High School senior, Connor Daigle, a two-time state champion in cross country, spoke to all the students at Union Elementary School on Thursday, Feb. 10.
Daigle encouraged students to find what they love and commit to getting better at it. He told how he wasn’t a good runner as a freshman, but found out he loves running, so kept training. Humbly, he told how he was better, but not good enough to qualify for the state meet as a sophomore, but through hard work, good coaching, and supportive family and friends, he ended up winning the state title as a junior, and then again as a senior.
Connor also showed photos of his running career and lists of benefits of being active.
