ROCKLAND — The Maine Lobster Festival is creating a cookbook to celebrate its 75th anniversary and is collecting recipes from the public. The deadline for submissions is Feb. 7, 2022.
The cookbook will showcase the incredible talent and diversity of our local community, and tell the story of our history, community, and connection to our natural resources. Recipes of all kinds are being accepted, but the Festival is especially looking for recipes highlighting lobster or other local Maine ingredients, such as seafood, vegetables and fruits, or a community connection.
Do you have your grandmother’s favorite biscuit recipe? Or, perhaps, a family favorite beef stew or seafood chowder you would like to share? Submit your recipe online. Images are welcome, but not required.
The goal is for this cookbook to become a treasured item for generations to come.
For assistance, or if you have questions regarding your submission, email cookbook@mainelobsterfestival.com.
