THOMASTON — Several students at Thomaston Grammar School were recognized for the attribute of friendship at a school-wide assembly on Tuesday, Jan. 18.

Phoebe Edwards-Jenks, Kindergarten.

Students presented with the Friendship Award were: Margaret Roberts, Charlie Adams, Logan McRae, Phoebe Edwards-Jenks, Elizabeth Guzman, Evelyn Fish, Piper McMahan, Evelyn Robertson, Owen McGowan, Keegan Didaleusky, Malcolm Brown, Aubree Corson, Ayden Basinet, Finn Eddy, Vincent Frisone, Gemma Rubino, and Kloe Maldonado.

The students chosen for this award are known to be excellent friends. They are true friends because they listen and support others because they care about them, not expecting anything in return. These students are selfless and make time for others no matter the situation, big or small.

Piper McMahan, grade two.

Wyatt Early was also presented with the Principal’s Award. Wyatt is an amazing member of the TGS community. Wyatt is very thoughtful; always thinking of others first. He is the first one to step up and help a teacher or a peer when he sees they need help. He offers his support without being asked to do so. He is kind and caring always. He consistently tries his very best in everything that he does.

Congratulations to all the students who received awards at TGS this month.

Malcom Brown, grade three.

Ayden Basinet, grade four.
