WALDOBORO — Medomak Valley and Oceanside wrestlers toiled on mats close to home on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Not only did the host Panthers and visiting Mariners face off in high school dual-matches, but the Midcoast squads also battled other foes.

The team scores for the Panthers were: Mount Ararat of Topsham/Brunswick 60, Medomak Valley 12; Morse of Bath 48, Medomak Valley 24; Medomak Valley 31, Nokomis of Newport 30; and Oceanside 42, Medomak Valley 24.

The team scores for the Mariners were:  Oceanside 42, Medomak Valley 24; Mount Ararat/Brunswick 51, Oceanside 15; Morse 54, Oceanside 21; and Nokomis 33, Oceanside 24.
