ROCKLAND — Penobscot Bay Language School announces a pre-grand opening fundraising event with Rockland’s newest West African restaurant Me Lon Togo Rockland.

The cultural dinner event is on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021, at 5:30 p.m. The event will be held at Me Lon Togo’s new Rockland location at 10 Leland Street in Rockland. All proceeds benefit Penobscot Bay Language School ‘s ESL for New Mainers program.

As an immigrant himself, Chef/owner Jordan Benissan — of Me Lon Togo — prepares a special four course meal, paired with signature drinks/wine. Cost is $40 a plate.

Mr. Benissan is a world renowned music educator and restaurateur. Penobscot Bay Language School worked with Mr. Benissan on an number of community projects over the years.
